The 2 oz. needlefish was originally designed to handle some faster currents and more moderate surf, and to match baits like large sand eels and herring. At 8 1/2 " long and 3/4" in diameter, it sinks faster than the 1 1/2 oz model and rests at about 15 degrees in the water. When crawled throughout the water column the shaped head will make them slightly swing from side to side giving the lure an action the fish just love when a typical needlefish won't induce a strike.

Each needlefish is crafted from birch hardwood and sealed. Through wire construction with a 310 lb stainless steel hook hanger. Painted and clear coated with an epoxy finish. The belly hooks are 2/0 4x VMC and the rear has a matching bucktail.
